Deathly Silence Workshop

The purpose of the Deathly Silence Workshop is to explore the role everyday people in the events of the Holocaust. The workshop assists middle and high school educators teach about the behavior and motives of "bystanders" who did little to protest the persecution that led to the Holocaust.

The workshop combines scholarly presentations with hands-on training for teachers. It is part of the Southern Institute's comprehensive program to provide
